Ingredients

2 cups

Whole wheat flour

1 tsp

Cumin seeds

1/4 tsp

Hing

1 tbsp

Sesame seeds

Green chillies

1-inch piece

Ginger

Chopped

Coriander leaves

1/2 cup

Yoghurt

2 tbsp

Olive oil

to taste

Salt

as needed

5 Minutes

Step 1

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, hing, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, green chillies, ginger, and salt.
  • Add yoghurt and olive oil. Mix to form a crumbly texture.
  • Gradually add water, kneading to form a soft, pliable dough.

20 Minutes

Step 2

  • Incorporate coriander leaves and knead briefly.
  • Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 8-10 balls. Roll each into a thin circle.

5 Minute

Step 3

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each flatbread until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  • Serve warm; optionally brush with olive oil or ghee.
